Why not? The answer is, probably because someone who was stuck in the Third Millenium told you what time it is.</div> <bR> <div> The old Nubian-Egyptian Calender system dates back atleast to 4,000 years BCE. (Before the Common Era aka European era). We have documents that affirm such dates, although it has been suggested that the Old Africans were date keeping even earlier. But without sufficient evidence we can not pin point a date to resume our African clock.</div> <bR> <div> As African people, why should we dismiss our own cultural clock in light of the European clock, when we find that the earlier European astronomers were using the sideral African clock to help refine their own confused system. And I quote "<I>The Egyptian calendar had an importance well beyond its purely Egyptian use. Astronomers used the old Egyptian (not the Alexandrian) calendar throughout antiquity and the Middle Ages because its absolute regularity in the number of days in both the months and the year made calculations much easier.</I> "</div> <div> - <A HREF="http://www.polysyllabic.com/Egyptian.html" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.polysyllabic.com/Egyptian.htm"><U>History of the Western Calender</U></A></div> <bR> <div> We continue to realign ourself with the Old African calender. This system deals with cycles of 1,461 years, or the <A HREF="http://dict.die.net/heliacal/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://dict.die.net/heliacal/"><U>heliacle </U></A>rising of Sothis (or Sirius in Western Astronomy). We now understand that The Old African's relationship to space, time, and the universe was so inter-penetrating that instead of dropping a leap day every 4 years <B>the Old Africans dropped an entire year every 1,461 years! </B>But they did not stop there. </div> <bR> <div> If we become familar with the Old African spiritual documents and monuments, we understand that they also brought designed concepts and institutions that functioned within the sphere of MILLIONS of years, such as the house of a million years and the solar bark of a million years. </div> <bR> <div> Once we accept the Old African vision of time and space, we can begin to appreciated that their monuments did not just happen to escape the ravages of time, even with two thousand years of neglect and vandalism.</div> <bR> <div> The Old Africans wanted us to at least consider re-aligning ourselves to their time scheme. Because it is written on the halls and walls on the temples of a million years!</div> <bR> <div> It is time to step Black into the Future! See you in the 7th Millenium.
